MAPPING AND MEASUREMENT
We map the stock of biodiversity with all the species in a given area.
We assess the degree of biodiversity and resilience of the stock.
We quantify all the relevant ecosystem services provided by each of the different species and by the whole stock.
We also assess how the stock and related ecosystem services may evolve under climate change scenarios.
We evaluate how that stock contributes to the quality of life in the city, in terms of thermal comfort, air quality, climate change adaptation, social inequalities.
BIODIVERSITY BASED SOLUTIONS FOR SOCIAL NEEDS
We engage with all relevant stakeholders to identify the most material social and economic needs and opportunities.
We design projects to maintain and improve urban biodiversity by selecting and combining those species that may better perform in terms of delivering services to meet social and economic needs.
We help clients design strategies to maximize the economic and social value of their natural capital and the ecosystem services that stock delivers locally and globally.
BIODIVERSITY CREDITS PLAN
We assist our clients to generate urban biodiversity credits based on the increase of biodiversity and/or ecosystem services. Biodiversity credits can help attract additional private investment for cities and land owners.
